McLaren released today the first teaser image of the new P1 GT race car. Unfortunately, McLaren did not disclose any details regarding the GT version of the P1. They announced that the world debut of the McLaren P1 GT is going to take place on Friday 27 June at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Judging from the darkened photo released by McLaren, the GT P1 is going to be equipped with a track-focused aerodynamic package. It includes a massive rear wing, an enlarged front splitter and lowered side skirts. Even though it can't be seen in this image, we believe that the McLaren P1 GT will also have a modified rear end design, with an even more convincing rear diffuser. Obviously, the McLaren P1 GT comes with competition wheels and tires. Apparently, the P1 GT is sponsored by Mobil1.
