Even though there are no rumors suggesting that McLaren is considering a Spider version of the P1, this didn't stop Evren Milano from imagining one. The McLaren P1 is the moral successor of the legendary F1. The McLaren F1 never had a spider version, but the P1 might receive one. McLaren's MP4-12C is already available as a Spider, so it's possible that the P1 will get one too. To get the P1 Spider, Evren basically chopped off the roof of the P1 coupe. This could never happen with a real life car. It would lose all its structural integrity and most of its safety. If McLaren will ever build a P1 Spider, it will definitely have a different rear profile. Evren's rear roof line does not offer any kind of head protection in case the car rolls over.
His roof looks a bit flimsy too. In any case, it’s nice to see someone is imagining a Spider version of the McLaren P1.
