Just like any fashion model, the McLaren P1 visited Bahrain for a photos shoot. McLaren released these new images of the P1 ahead of the 2013 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, which is going to take place this weekend. These new photos of the McLaren P1 were shot on the Bahrain International Circuit, where this weekend's F1 race is going to take place. The McLaren P1 is a hyper car in the true sense of the word. It's powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that spits out 727 bhp and 720Nm of torque. The P1 is one of the most powerful production vehicles on the market today. Well, it's not on the market yet, but it will soon be. According to McLaren, the P1 is able to accelerate from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3 seconds and it can reach 200 km/h in less than seven seconds.
Unfortunately, all this fun comes at a price. McLaren's official price for the P1 is set at 866,000 GBP.
