McLaren P1 On Snow

 »  »  »

McLaren announced today that they're currently testing the P1 on snow in cold weather, at the Arctic Circle, in northern Sweden. The McLaren P1 is currently being tested in some of the most hostile and toughest conditions on the planet. This is one of the final stages in the development of the P1, as McLaren prepares to start delivering it in just a few months. McLaren says that only 375 customers will receive their McLaren P1 in this round. The McLaren P1 is powered by a mid-mounted 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that works together with an electric motor. The total power output of the P1 is rated at 916PS. McLaren says that they're going to demonstrate the full potential of the P1 during this summer.

McLaren released a few new images of the P1, as well as a video, that show the XP being tested near the Arctic Circle.
