Mercedes V Class

The 31st of January (2014) is a sad day for motoring. They launched a van! And that's about it... It's the new Viano, sorry.. the new V Class... Well, you may fool yourself it's a Mercedes, but in the end, it's just a van. The LED lights are mandatory since a couple of years back, so there's no "WOW!" factor there either. But you do get the comfort factor. There are a couple of armchairs at the front, and a few seats at the back. There's also a nice engine driving the wheels and plenty of space to carry your luggage. It's the perfect airport shuttle! I guess this is the reason Mercedes built in the first place anyway. As far as we can tell from these images, you guys driving people every day around, are going to have a better time, and that’s a good thing.

At the launch, the Mercedes V Class is going to be sold with a 2.1-liter 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine that comes in three power output levels: 100 kW (136 hp), 120 kW (163 hp), and 140 kW (190 hp. The price of the new V Class is going to be announced at a later date.
