The cat is out of the bag, before Daimler even thought of it. The first Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell video has also hit the web thanks the Bild.de - a German magazine which posted it on YouTube. Although the Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell video is in German, the images do all the talking you'll ever need. The clip even shows various driving shots of featuring the new electric Gullwing and yes, the only noise it makes are its tires rolling on the tarmac.
The Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell is powered by four electric motors, one for each wheel, that develop a total of 526 hp and 649 lb-ft of torque. The leaked details say the Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell can top 60 mph in just 4 seconds.
The Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell comes with a new suspension, tweaked aerodynamics and modified interior.
