Mercedes SLS AMG E Cell: New Images

Daimler has released a new set of images of their latest vehicle - the electric Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell. In the case you’re not yet familiar with the Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell, here are some details. Its power comes from four electric motors, each of them driving one wheel, that have a total power output of 392 kW and 880 Nm of torque. The manufacturer says the Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell is able to get from 0 to 100 km/h in roughly the same time as its gasoline powered peer - 4 seconds. The top speed of the Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell has not been announced yet.

The Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell prototype is part of the company's newest strategy to improve its model's fuel consumption and to reduce their CO2 emissions.

It's not sure at the moment whether or not the Mercedes SLS AMG E-Cell will go into production.
