The Italian tuners from Novitec Rosso revealed today their aftermarket program for the Ferrari 458 Spider. Novitec's Ferrari 458 Spider comes modified visuals and quite a serious power upgrade. Instead of the standard 570 hp, the Novitec 458 Spider develops 609 hp / 448 kW at 9,100 rpm and 569 Nm of torque at 5,400 rpm. To get the extra stallions out of the 4.5-liter V8 engine, Novitec installed a new carbon-fiber air box and a new exhaust system made from INCONEL (a material used in Formula 1). The new exhaust includes two high-performance manifolds, sport catalysts and a rear muffler. Novitec also remapped the 458's ECU. The Novitec Ferrari 458 Spider is rated with a top speed of 325 km/h. Unfortunately, its 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint time is not known at the moment.

The Novitec Ferrari 458 Spider sits on 21- and 22-inch light alloy wheels, and a hydraulic suspension system, which allows the car to be lifted and lowered. The new body kit of the Novitec 458 spider, which was developed in the wind tunnel of the University of Stuttgart, includes a new front spoiler, carbon side skirts, a rear diffuser and a rear wing. Other carbon fiber parts include various ornaments, and trim parts. The new suspension system of the Novitec Ferrari 458 Spider allows the supercar to be lifted by 40 mm, or lowered by 35 mm.

At the interior, Novitec swapped various trim parts of the 458 Spider and replaced them with carbon fiber ones. The price of Novitec's new kit has not been announced.
