Peugeot revealed today the full details of the new Exalt Concept together with a larger set of images. The public debut of the Peugeot Exalt is going to take place on April 20 in Beijing. Peugeot's Exalt concept measures 4.7 meters in length and 1.31 m in height. The car weighs 1.7 tones and it's powered by a 1.6-liter THP 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that develops 270 bhp and 330 Nm of torque. The THP engine powers the front wheels of the Peugeot Exalt, while the rear ones are powered by en electric motor that develops and additional 50 kW. The total output of the Exalt's powertrain is rated at 340 hp. The Exalt comes with a six-speed automatic gearbox. Apart from the incredibly looking exterior, the Exalt features a distinctive interior too.

For building it, Peugeot used leather, real wood, and carbon fiber.

The Peugeot Exalt comes equipped with a digital instrument cluster with two folding touchscreens, a Pure Blue air purification system, and bucket seats. Peugeot covered parts of the Exalt with what they call "Shark Skin". This is a new textile material that is said to improve aerodynamic efficiency. This in turn reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
