Peugeot VeLV Concept

Peugeot revealed today the VeLV concept, which is a compact electric three-wheeler developed for urban use. The Peugeot VeLV is 2.81 m long, it weighs less than 700 kg and is offers three seats. The VeLV is powered by an electric motor that develops 20 kW (DC)/30 kW. Its 8.5 kWh battery promises a range of up to 100 km on a full charge and a top speed of 110 km/h. Peugeot built the VeLV with a one-piece body made of fiberglass and polyester resin and ABS PMMA self-colored thermoformed body panels. Its front and door frames are made of aluminum. The carmaker says that the new VeLV manages to comply with the current crash standards for passenger cars.

Peugeot says that the VeLV was designed to be versatile, comfortable, safe and economical. They also say it's going to be fun to drive, but that remains to be seen. So far, Peugeot did not say anything about putting the VeLV into production.
