According to various sources, the French carmaker is working on the Peugeot H1 concept which is expected to be unveiled at the Paris auto show in September. The carmaker hopes the new Peugeot H1 concept will throw the brand into a new design era, which will see elegant, yet affordable models, powered by hybrid powertrains. Curiously, the Peugeot H1 concept will try not to inspire performance, or at the least this is what the rumor says. Ohh yes, we've always wanted car that's made to be slow in purpose. Finally, we get the opportunity to have a slow car.

Of course, these are all rumors at this point, and we hardly believe a carmaker will deliberately design a car with the whole purpose of looking slow. the rumors also say the

Peugeot H1 concept will have roughly the same exterior dimensions as the upcoming DS4, but with a different look, obviously.

The front fascia design of the new Peugeot H1 concept is expected to inspire the new 208 which is expected in show rooms in two years time.

The details of the engine under the skin of the Peugeot H1 concept are non-existent at the moment.

We'll keep you posted on the new concept as new details emerge.
