Today a number of images of the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 leaked over the web though several outlets. As it's name implies, the Porsche's 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is powered by a 4.0-liter engine coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission. Most sources believe the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 will have a power output of around 500 hp. This is 50 hp more than the standard Porsche 911 GT3 RS, which has a 450 hp, 3.8-liter engine.
As seen in this leaked photos, the 911 GT3 RS 4.0 comes with a white livery with silver and red accents, white "scaffolding" (roll cage), and of course light alloy wheels in the same color.
The interior of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 shows a two-tone, black and red scheme.
What's interesting is the lack of a stereo, navigation system and other devices that make life easier at the wheel. Our guess is that Porsche made the 911 GT3 RS 4.0 as lightweight as possible, which in turn, means it will be a track focus machine. Porsche's special edition 911 GT3 RS 4.0 also shows various aerodynamics updates, including two fins on the front bumper, left and right.
The price of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is not known at the moment, but as it's usually the case, it will probably cost more than a standard GT3 RS.
