Porsche released a new presentation video for the 911 GT3 RS 4.0 as the new, and very special model, had its UK debut. One of the company's official says that the new 4-liter 911 GT3 RS is most extreme street legal 911 ever built. In comparison to a "standard" GT3 RS, the 4.0 has more power, a bigger engine a mountains of racing technology under its hood. Porsche did not disclose the top speed of the GT3 RS 4.0, but they do mention it can rocket from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.9 seconds.
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is powered by a 4.0-liter 6-cylinder engine, which develops 500 hp at 8,250 rpm and 460 Nm of torque at 5,750 rpm. Porsche did not fit the 911 GT3 RS 4.0 with forced induction, which means the throttle response of the new model is immediate.
The German car manufacturer says that the 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is able to run a lap of the Nurburgring in just 7 minutes and 27 seconds, which is quite an achievement. Watch this presentation film of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 lower down this page.
