A new rumor that surfaced the web today brings the initial info on the future Porsche Panamera Turbo S. The Panamera Turbo S will be the top of the range, most powerful, four-door sedan Porsche ever made, with an output of more than 540 hp and 800 Nm of torque. Porsche will power the Panamera Turbo S with a 4.8-liter twin turbocharged engine which will send almost 600 lb-ft of torque to the wheels via a PDK, double clutch transmission. At this point is not clear whether or not Porsche's top of the range Panamera Turbo will also be available as a 4S or not.
Today's speculations go further and say the Porsche Panamera Turbo S will be able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.8 seconds and that it will be able to reach a top speed of 188 mph (300 km/h).
Porsche is expected to premiere the new Panamera Turbo S in China and to put it on sale this summer. The base price for the new Panamera Turbo S is not known at this moment.
