Subaru has released today new Subaru Forester S-Edition images, after the special edition's global premiere at the Sydney International Auto Show. The Subaru Forester S-Edition features various interior styling upgrades, including Alcantara upholstery, alloys pedals, new interior trim parts, badges and luminescent instruments. The Subaru Forester S-Edition sits on newly designed 17 inch alloys wheels and a re-tuned sports suspension. This usually means the Subaru Forester S-Edition will have a more firm and rigid ride. It's a trade-off between comfort and better handling.
The Subaru Forester S-Edition continues to be powered by the 2.5-liter engine that develops 193 kW and 347 Nm of torque.
However, the power delivery of the Subaru Forester S-Edition has been altered. The dyno test graph is available in the image gallery. The Subaru Forester S-Edition also outputs 27 Nm and 24 kW more than the XT and comes with the five-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters.
