Elaion and Subaru unveiled their Forester race car which will compete in the Dakar 2010 series between Argentina-Chile. The details on the Subaru Forester for Dakar 2010 are scarce, but it seems it has underwent some serious upgrading. To manage the rough terrain of the Dakar rally, the Subaru Forester comes with a strengthen suspension, a higher ride height and competition wheels and tires. We also suspect the Subaru Forester for Dakar 2010 has lighter body panels, made from carbon fiber and Kevlar. The engine output has probably also been increased. The Subaru Forester will be driven in the Dakar 2010 rally by Yoshiu Ikemachi and Gabriel Pozzo.
