Subaru revealed today the Forester tS, which comes with a long list of STI performance upgrades. The Subaru Forester tS is powered by the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, which has received a reprogrammed ECU and TCU (Transmission Control Unit). As a result, this powertrain develops 280 hp and 350 Nm of torque. STI also equips the Subaru Forester tS with 19-inch BBS alloy wheels, Brembo brakes (17-inch opposed 4-pot ventilated discs front / 17-inch opposed 2-pot ventilated discs rear), and a 15 mm-lowered inverted-strut front suspension. STI also transforms the look of Subaru's tS Forester with the help of a custom body kit that includes new bumpers and side skirts, and a roof spoiler. For the interior of the Subaru Forester tS, STI is offering a new steering wheel and shifter, various carbon fiber trim parts, and a range of other styling elements.
STI limits the production of the Subaru Forester tS to 300 units. They will go on sale on April5, 2015.
