An image of the Tata Nano Cabrio has surfaced the web last night, showing two units somewhere in public. The Tata Nano Cabrio image is not an official photo and apparently was taken on public roads. The Tata Nano Cabrio is not actually a convertible, but a standard model that had its roof chopped off. We guess this raises some serious safety concerns, since the car's rigidity had to suffer after it had its top removed.
The two Tata Nano Cabrio units in the image seem to be the result of someone taking a chainsaw to the roof of the car, more than a vehicle developed by a car manufacturer. Some reactions to the Tata Nano Cabrio seen in the image say this is not an actual production model, but a vehicle used internally by Tata employees.
They also say the Tata Nano Cabrio will never see the showroom floor, or at least not in this from.
