The German aftermarket specialists from VATH revealed today their upgrade program for the Mercedes SLS AMG, offering more power and new looks. VATH's SLS AMG develops 615 hp and 680 Nm at 5800 rpm and the tuner says it can rocket from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.6 seconds. they rate its top speed at 330 km/h. to get the increased performance, VATH equips the SLS AMG with new engine electronics and a high-performance exhaust system.
The VATH Mercedes SLS AMG tuning program includes new brakes, with slotted rotors, high-performance brake pads and steel flex lines. The bigger brakes are required in order to manage the extra horsepower. For the same reason, VATH also gave the Mercedes SLS AMG a new suspension system,
that lowers the ride height by 25 millimeters.
The aerodynamics package of the VATH Mercedes SLS AMG is made from carbon fiber and includes a front lip spoiler and a boot lid wing, together with new side skirts.
The interior of the VATH SLS features a leather sport steering wheel (that can also be provided in wood or carbon), a new speedometer and other styling accents.
The price for the VATH Mercedes SLS AMG program is set at 32,670 Euro.
