BMW released this week a teaser video of the 2012 3 Series, which could mean that the new generation model is getting close to its premiere. The clip shows a camouflaged prototype of the 2012 BMW 3 Series, amongst other models that are being tested in hot weather. Filmed in the 'Death Valley', the video features the new BMW 7 Series, the X5M, and what appears to be an X5 / X6 facelifted version.
What we know so far about the new generation 2012 BMW 3 Series is that it will have a fresh exterior and interior design, updated safety and entertainment systems and revised powertrains. Although the exact specifics of the engines offered for the 2012 3 Series are still a mystery, we can speculate that they're going to
be more efficient than before. BMW's 2012 3 Series will be offered with both petrol and diesel units and don't be surprised if they're going to offer a hybrid version too.
