The British journalists from EVO Magazine released today a new video review of BMW latest M car, the 1 Series M Coupe. For the purpose of this test, they drove the 1 Series M Bimmer along some winding country roads, the focus point being the car's everyday usability. The BMW 1 Series M will soon be available in dealerships, with a price tag of 39,990 GBP if you live in the UK, or 50,500 EUR if you live anywhere else in Europe. This is the base price of the 1 Series M coupe. Optional extras will probably add quite a bit to this figure.
The BMW 1 Series M is powered by a three-liter 6-cylinder powerplant which outputs 335 hp and 450 Nm of torque. BMW equipped the BMW 1 Series M with an overboost function that increase the
torque output by 50 Nm. Unfortunately, BMW limits the top speed of the BMW 1 Series M at 155 mph (250 km/h). However, you can still have lots of fun with it since it needs only 4.9 seconds for the trip from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h).
