The massive crash in this video took place in DTM - the German Touring Car Championship. The crash took place in the penultimate race of the DTM and involved Audi's factory driver, Alexandre Premat. The French driver lost control of his Audi DTM racer, entered the grass on the side of the track and rolled his car four times. He managed to get away from this unfortunate event with minor injuries, however, his Audi race was completely destroyed. Audi stated that this horrific crash comes to confirm yet again that they race cars are safe enough for this kind of competition.
