Audi RS5 DTM

The new Audi RS5 DTM had its world debut yesterday, during the opening day of the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Audi is going to compete with the new RS5 racecar in the 2013 DTM season. Since the technical specifications of the cars competing in the DTM were frozen at the end of the 2012 season, all Audi could do is optimize around 4,000 of the car's components. Eight Audi RS5 DTM racers are going to compete in this year's season, as part of three teams: Abt Sportsline, Phoenix and Rosberg. As you can imagine, the exact specifications of the new DTM RS5 are a closely guarded secret. The drivers who are going race in the RS5 DTM this season include Jamie Green (Great Britain), Mattias Ekstrom (Sweden), Timo Scheider (Germany) and Adrien Tambay (France), Miguel Molina (Spain) and Mike Rockenfeller (Germany), Filipe Albuquerque (Portugal) and Edoardo Mortara (Italy/France).

The first race for the new Audi RS5 DTM is going to take place on the Hockenheimring race track on May 5th, 2013.
