Quattro better than xDrive? This is a question many have asked, and the results you're about to see in this video are unexpected, to say the least. The video shows an Audi Q5 quattro going against a BMW X3 xDrive in a test involving getting up a ramp. The test aims to find out which of the all-wheel-drive systems, the Audi Quattro or the BMW xDrive, is able to transfer the power and torque to the wheels that have the best traction. We have to admin that before the test, we put our money on the Audi Quattro. We were wrong. Yup, the BMW xDrive did the test with absolutely no problems at all. The Audi quattro however, did not manage to get up the ramp at all. Of course, the test was done by BMW, and some might suspect that the Audi Q5 quattro used for it was not, let's say, as the ones leaving the production line.
If the Audi quattro vs BMW xDrive test would've been done by an independent party, we have to say Audi is in serious trouble.
