You rarely get to see a spectacular crash during the MINI CHALLENGE series due to the fact the Mini Cooper race cars involved don't reach high enough speeds. However, driver Nico Bastian managed to flip his Mini Cooper race car while in the air. In a fast corner, the brakes on his Mini Cooper failed and he crashed into the side barrier. Fortunately, the driver got out without any injuries.
