The journalist at AutoExpress are clearly not paying any kind of attention to the latest tests done on the new safety systems of the Volvo S60. Especially the one involving its Auto Brake system. In their Volvo S60 review they go ahead an actually test the Auto Brake function on a real person! The Auto Brake system fitted on the Volvo S60 is meant to automatically stop the car, from speeds of up to 50 km/h, in case there's an obstacle in front of it and the driver doesn't apply the brakes. Up until this moment, there are several videos going around the Volvo S60 failing the test. There's even one made by Volvo them selves.
To see if the AutoExpress cameraman made it out alive out of the test, watch the Volvo S60 review video after the jump.
