Volvo revealed today the facelifted versions of the 2014 S60, V60 and XC60, which come with a more rounded design and updated engines and technology. For the interior of the new S60 (2014), V60 (2014) and XC60 (2014), Volvo is using more refined materials, and more comfortable seats. At the exterior, the 2014 Volvo S60, V60 and XC60 shows new headlights, integrated tailpipes and an overall cleaner design. The 2014 Volvo S60 comes with a wider front grille, and LED daytime running lights. At the interior is comes with new color choices and various wood and silk metal trim parts. The new Volvo S60 (2014) is going to be available with a choice between three chassis types: Dynamic, Four-C (Continuously Controlled Chassis Concept) and the R-Design Lowered Sport Chassis.
The 2014 Volvo V60 is going to offer the same chassis options, as well as 430 liters of load space and 40/20/40 split rear seats. The new 2014 Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid comes with AWD and a 5-cylinder 2.4-litre turbodiesel engine, which is good for 215 hp and 440 Nm of torque. The new V60 (2014) comes with a 6-speed automatic gearbox and an electric motor that's good for an additional 70 hp and 200 Nm. The 2014 V60 can get from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.1 seconds and it can run in electric only mode for up to 31 miles.
The 2014 Volvo XC60 show a newly designed hood, and the same interior finishes as its other two "60" siblings. The 2014 XC60 comes equipped as standard with Corner Traction Control, but you also order it with the optional AWD system with Hill Descent Control.
