The new 2010 Volvo S60 managed to get spied during a photos hoot in Sweden. The new 2010 Volvo S60 was previewed by the manufacturer with a concept that was premiered at the North American International Auto Show back in December last year. The production version of that concept, the 2010 Volvo S60, keeps most of its lines and is even painted in the same color. The main differences between the production 2010 Volvo S60 and its concept are the vertical opening doors and the center console which is made from a special crystal. These would definitely add a significant increase in price.

The 2010 Volvo S60 will probably feature the four-cylinder 1.6-litre engine that equips the concept. This means it will develop 180 hp with a 119 g/km CO2 emissions level. The company aims to bring the 10 Volvo S60 to a fuel consumption level of 5.0 l/100 km.

The 2010 Volvo S60 is expected to make its public debut also at the Detroit auto show, next year.
