The first image of the Volvo S60 Convertible has just leaked over the web today. The Volvo S60 Convertible was previewed at a dealer's presentation and the new version is expected to hit the market in 2011 as a 2012 model. Apparently, the Volvo S60 Convertible will not be the actual name of the new open top model. The company is considering naming it the Volvo C60.
No matter the name, the Volvo S60 Convertible will have a folding hard-top which will be stored in the boot. Apart from what can be seen in the mobile phone image, the details of the Volvo S60 Convertible are very scarce.
The Volvo S60 Convertible has basically the same design as the S60, with the same front fascia,
but it will probably have different side design lines due to the new top.
The Volvo S60 Convertible will probably offers roughly the same engine line-up as the regular model, which means it will have a decreased performance due to the extra weight.
