Polestar Performance, which are some of the world's most prestigious Volvo specialists, revealed their upgrade program for the new S60. The Polestar's Volvo S60 program includes a serious power upgrade, new aerodynamics and handling modifications. The Polestar S60 is powered by the standard T6 engine, which, thanks to a Garret 3171 turbo and a modified intake, puts out no less than 508 hp at 6500rpm and 575Nm of torque at 5500rpm. With the newfound strength, the Polestar S60 is able to rocket from nought to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 3.9 seconds. This is supercar level of performance! Its top speed is rated at over 300 km/h. To be able to put all its power on the tarmac, the Polestar Volvo S60 comes with a modified chassis.
A 30-mm lowered suspension, Ohlins 3-way shock absorbers, a wider track and various other mods are all working to make the Polestar S60 one of the fastest Volvos in the world.
Extra horsepowers require extra braking power. Polestar equips the S60 with 6-piston calipers from Brembo on the front, together with 380 mm ventilated discs. Polestar S60's body kit includes a new front splitter, a larger rear spoiler and a carbon fiber diffuser. For the interior of the Volvo S60, Polestar is offering a new center console and Alcantara-covered trim parts.
