The popular British TV show fifth Gear released their review of the Volvo V60 DRIVe. The DRIVe version of Volvo's V60 station wagon is actually the economy class version of the model. It's powered by a 1.6-litre diesel engine, equipped with common rail electronic fuelling, which outputs 84 kW (115 hp) at 3600 rpm and 270 Nm of torque. Volvo's V60 DRIVe estate comes with a sex-speed manual transmission and promises to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 11.3 seconds. Volvo says that the V60 DRIVe can actually reach a top speed of 190 km/h.

The Volvo V60 DRIVe is not going to win any races on the Nurburgring, but it will offer pretty good efficiency levels. Volvo's official specifications of the DRIVe V60 say it has a

4,5 l/100km fuel consumption and emits 119 g/km of CO2. The V60 DRIVe is priced in the UK between 24,000 and 28,000 GBP.
