The Volvo V60 Cross Country has its world debut today, as it prepares for its first public appearance, which is going to take place at the 2014 Los Angeles auto show, towards the end of this month. Volvo is going to sell the V60 Cross Country with Drive-E four-cylinder diesel and petrol engines for the FWD version. The AWD versions of the V60 Cross Country are going to be powered by five-cylinder D4 engines. In the U.S. and Canada, the Cross Country V60 is going to be available with a 5-cylinder 250 hp petrol engine and an automatic transmission. This AWD powertrain promises to offer a 23 mpg fuel consumption. The Volvo V60 Cross Country has a 65 mm higher ground clearance than the regular version of the car, torque vectoring technology, corner traction control, and 18- and 19-inch wheels.

The Volvo V60 Cross Country's equipment list includes skid plates front and rear, side scuff plates, fender extenders, integrated tailpipes and black leather sport seats. The Volvo V60 Cross Country's price is going to be announced at a later date.
