Volvo Concept Estate

Volvo revealed today the Concept Estate, which is going to be premiered next week during the opening days of the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The Volvo Concept Estate is going to display the carmaker's latest technological innovations. Among those is the huge interior touch screen that serves as the main control panel for the new in-car user experience. It replaces all buttons and controls except for a few crucial functions such as volume, play/pause, hazard warning and window heaters. The Concept Estate previews the way future Volvo station wagons are going to look like. The two spoke steering wheel and the gauges of Volvo's Concept Estate are inspired by the 1800 models. Volvo's Concept Estate comes with a low bonnet, a sleek silhouette, a panoramic glass roof, 21-inch alloys, and, in case you didn't notice, just three doors.

The Volvo Concept Estate is a design study, so the Scandinavian car maker did not release many technical details about it. In terms of design, we'll let the images and the video do the talking.
