Wiesmann revealed today at the new GT MF4-CS at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The Wiesmann GT MF4-CS measures 4.22 m in length, 2.00 m in width, 1.20 m in height and it's built on an aluminum monocoque frame chassis. Because of this it weighs just 1,350 kg. The GT MF4-CS is a two-seater with a mid-engine rear-wheel-drive architecture. The body of the GT MF4-CS is made from fiber glass, apart from the rear wing, which is made from carbon fiber. To power, the GT MF4-CS, Wiesmann chose a 4.0-liter V8 engine that's good for 309 kW (420 hp) at 8,300 rpm and 400 Nm of torque at 3,900 rpm. The engine of the MF4-CS is coupled with a 7-speed double-clutch transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.
In terms of performance, Wiesmann's official specifications say that the GT MF4-CS requires 4.4 seconds to get from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) and that it has a top speed of 293 km/h. The Wiesmann MF4-CS is rated with a fuel economy of 12.2 l / 100 km in the combined cycle, with 17.9 l / 100 km in the urban cycle and with a fuel consumption of 9.0 l / 100 km/h on the highway cycle.
Wiesmann equips the GT MF4-CS with a 100% fully variable self-locking differential, an aluminum double wishbone suspension with coil springs and an anti-roll bar on both axles, and with a trailing arm on the rear axle.
The Wiesmann GT MF4-CS comes with all the standard safety features you would expect to find on a modern vehicle. It features ABS, DSC, airbags, an integrated side impact protection system, safety steering and an engine immobilizer. However, the GT MF4-CS does not come with an audio system or air conditioning, but you can get an optional carbon pack for the interior.
