Zagato Fiat 500 Coupe Into Production

 »  »  »

Zagato's Fiat 500 Coupe received a lot of attention after its premiere at this year's Geneva auto show. As a result, fiat has decided to put it into production. According to the Spanish press, Sergio Marchionne, the big boss at Fiat, said that the new Fiat 500 Coupe Zagato will be put into production in Europe and will be sold in limited numbers. The price and availability of the new 500 Coupe are not known at the moment.

Styled by Zagato, the famous design house, the Fiat 500 Coupe brings a sportier feeling to the model and makes us dream of an Abarth version. Although the exterior dimensions of Zagato's 500 Coupe are the same as the ones of the standard version, we bet there's just a bit less room in

the back. The regular 500 offers just enough room on the rear seats for two adults. Bringing the roof line down, will probably limit the space quite a bit. Even Fiat names the new 500 Coupe a 2+2, which usually means you'll only be able to fit a coupled of kids in the back.

The Zagato Fiat 500 Coupe presented in Geneva is powered by the 105 hp, 155 Nm of torque TwinAir engine, but the its production version will probably offer a wider choice of engines.

We'll have more details on the Fiat 500 Coupe Zagato as soon as they're available.
