The new XKR-S (2012) is powered by a supercharged V8 engine that sends 550PS and 680Nm of torque to the coupe's rear wheels. On the other side, the 2013 Aston V8 Vantage has a 4.7-litre engine that develops "just" 426PS, which is quite a lot less than the Jag. So, on paper, the Jaguar is the winner. However, in a real life comparison test, the Aston might come on the first place.
