Here's an interesting comparison test between some of the moment's hottest hatches: the 2013 Ford Focus ST, the 2012 Renault Megane RS and the 2012 Vauxhall Astra VXR. All three hot hatches are front-wheel-drive and are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, but they do have different outputs. The 2013 Focus ST develops 250PS, the 2012 Megane RS is good for 265 hp and 360 Nm of torque, while the 2012 Astra VXR brings 280hp and 400 Nm of torque to the table. On paper, the Astra VXR should be the winner.
