The Jeep Grand Cherokee fails evasive maneuver test and it has been deemed fatal in such a situation. A Swedish car magazine did the "elk" or "moose" test, which involves an evasive maneuver that the Jeep Grand Cherokee failed to pass. Allpar, a Chrysler fan site, claims that the Grand Cherokee used for the test was intentionally overloaded. They also say that the test was repeated with a correctly loaded car, in which case the Jeep performed correctly. Chrysler's official statement says they're currently investigating the Swedish magazine's claim.
