| This Tesla Model S was recently caught on tape as it was on fire somewhere on the streets of Kent, Washington. Apparently, the Tesla Model S caught fire after it was involved in a collision. Firefighters had to use a dry chemical extinguisher to put the fire out, as water only managed to intensify it. Even after the fire was out, on of Tesla's batteries was still smoking. This incident begs the question are Tesla's batteries safe enough for use on public streets? | |||||
