| After the end of the quality problems Mercedes E Class rises again in 2009. From March 2009 the new Mercedes E Class will probably become a reality.
Since the introduction on the market in 1993 the Mercedes E Class sold in around 10 million units. While the C Class addresses young and not so young alike, the 2009 Mercedes E Class addresses to the "established" person. Contrary to the predecessor the 2009 Mercedes E Class is no longer soft, but sporty and silent and has the proportions of the four-door coupe CLS. The cockpit will show a mixture between the S Class and C-class and it will probably have most of the Mercedes security systems. |

| As from the chassis point of view the 2009 Mercedes E Class moves closer to the C Class and the CLK.
