2011 Mercedes CLS AMG Spy Video

Recently, the German press has released a new 2011 Mercedes CLS AMG spy video show on and near the Nurburgring race track, obviously. Although the vehicle in this video is completely covered with camouflage tape, the trademark twin double exhaust pipes clearly say 2011 Mercedes CLS AMG. The German source strongly believes that the 2011 Mercedes CLS AMG will be powered by the new 5.5-liter V8 engine, instead of the classic 6.2-liter, but this remains to be seen. If the 2011 Mercedes CLS AMG will get the new smaller powerplant, it means it will output around 544 hp and 800 Nm of torque. It will also mean the 2011 Mercedes CLS AMG will send more hp and Nm to the rear wheels in comparison to the current version of the car.

As far as we can tell from the spy video, the 2011 Mercedes CLS AMG will have LED daytime running lights, squared exhaust pipes, new headlights and redesigned taillights.
