At the end of last week, General Motors released the first two teaser images of the next generation, 2012 Chevrolet Colorado. Even though Chevy camouflaged the 2012 Colorado prototypes completely, some of their design details can be seen in the teaser photos. Currently, GM is putting the 2012 Chevrolet Colorado through its final testing phase, which takes place in Thailand. Chevrolet is planning the sell the 2012 Colorado pick-up truck in various markets across the Middle East, Asia, Africa and South America.
The 2012 Chevy Colorado will be powered by the new four-cylinder Duramax diesel engines. It will be available at first in two versions only - the crew-cab and extended-cab.
Chevy's new 2.5-liter and 2.8-liter engines for the 2012 Colorado will feature aluminum cylinder heads, overhead cams, and turbocharging.
