Chevrolet released today the details of the 2012 Silverado pickup truck, which comes with several enhancements in appearance and comfort. The 2011 Chevrolet Silverado features a slightly modified front fascia, and offers four new exterior finish colors (Silver Ice Metallic, Mocha Steel Metallic, Carbon Flash Metallic, and Graystone). The interior upgrades brought by the 2012 Chevy Silverado include a new navigation system featuring an integrated radio, a new display and an integrated hard-drive that eliminates the need for map discs. For the 2012 Silverado pick-up truck, Chevrolet also offers OnStar and SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, a Wi-Fi system and heated / cooled seats.

Control and Hill Start Assist. The 2012 Silverado LS and LT feature a chrome mesh grille, a silver-painted lower bumper fascia and on the 2WD versions, a new 20-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheel.

The high performance version of the truck, the 2011 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ, now comes with a Z60 high-performance suspension, 20-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels, a chrome tow hook, new tail pipes, and touring tires.



The 2011 Chevrolet Silverado model range offers a choice between the 6.2-liter V8 engine and the 5.3-liter V8. The 2012 Silverado 1500 6.2L can tow up to 10,700 pounds (4,853 kg).

For its 45th Anniversary, the 2012 Chevy Silverado receives a Custom Sport Truck package for the Vortec 5.3L V8 engine powered version:
