Chevrolet revealed today the Silverado High Country HD, which aims to make tough jobs easier. This means it tries to offer more comfort than its siblings. The Chevrolet Silverado High Country HD is going to be available as the 2500HD and the 3500HD pickups. Chevy is going to sell the Silverado High Country HD with a choice between three engines: 6.0-liter V8 with 360 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque, 6.0L V8 bifuel (runs on Compressed Natural Gas CNG too) and 6.6L Duramax turbodiesel with 397 hp and 765 lb-ft of torque. The Duramax version of the Silverado High Country HD comes with an Allison 1000 6-speed automatic gearbox, and a variable-vane turbocharger. Chevrolet equips the High Country HD Silverado with body-color front and rear bumpers, a CornerStep rear bumper, 6-inch tubular chrome assist steps, and various badges.

The 2500HD High Country comes with 20-inc alloys, the single-rear-wheel 3500HD has 18-inch chrome wheels while the dual-rear-wheel model comes with 17-inch rims.

At the interior, the High Country HD features heated and cooled perforated premium leather front bucket seats, MyLink, an 8-inch touch screen, Bose premium audio and front and rear park assist. Optional extras include a sunroof, navigation system and a rear-seat entertainment system with a BluRay/DVD player. The Premium Package includes a heated steering wheel, driver alert package and power adjustable pedals.

For the Silverado High Country HD, Chevrolet is offering new trailering mirrors that can be extended for wider trailers and feature power adjust with memory and power fold. The Chevrolet Silverado High Country HD's price is going to be announced at a later date.
