Chevrolet revealed today at the SEMA show the new Silverado Cheyenne concept, which is a performance version of the pickup truck's regular cab version. The Chevrolet Silverado Cheyenne is powered by an EcoTec3 6.2-liter V8 engine that's rated with an output of 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. The Chevy Silverado Cheyenne is equipped with a Borla exhaust system, a six-speed automatic transmission with hill descent control, electric power steering and StabiliTrak electronic stability control with hill start assist. For the interior of the Cheyenne Silverado, Chevrolet chose Recaro sport seats, and a flat-bottom steering wheel. The Cheyenne Silverado comes equipped with lane departure warning, front and rear park assist, and a rear-vision camera.
The Silverado Cheyenne features a lowered ride height, a rear stabilizer bar and Brembo carbon ceramic brakes. To reduce the weight of the Silverado, the Cheyenne version features carbon bumpers, tailgate and inner cargo box. The Silverado Cheyenne comes with a Camaro Z/28 style hood.
