Hyundai released today the first images and initial details of the 2012 i30 facelift, which will have its world debut at the Frankfurt auto show next week. The 2012 Hyundai i30 facelift features a completely new front fascia, with re-designed headlights and fog lights surrounded by LED daytime running lights, a new front bumper, and a new grille. The rear of the 2012 Hyundai i30 also show a completely new design, with fresh new tail lights, a rear roof spoiler and an overall more stylish feel. The 2012 i30 comes with a new set of 18 inch light alloy wheels.

Hyundai also gave the 2012 i30 a fresh new interior, featuring higher quality materials and a more pleasant design than before. At the interior, the 2012 i30 now has a fresh new center

console, with an integrated display for the satellite navigation system, new instruments, and what seem to be aluminum pedals.

The exact dimensions of the 2012 Hyundai i30 have not been announced yet, but we did manage to find out that it has a 378 liter boot and that it's slightly longer than its predecessor.

Hyundai will sell the 2012 i30 with a choice between two petrol and two diesel engines, with power



outputs ranging from 90 hp to 140 hp. The 2012 Hyundai i30 Blue, which is the more efficient version of the model range, will have a 1.6-liter engine developing 126 hp which emits less than 100 g/km of CO2. The 2012 I30 will also be available with a 1.6-liter petrol unit with direct injection, which outputs 140 hp and a 1.4-liter diesel developing 90 hp. In terms of gearbox options, the 2012 i30 facelift will be available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
