Hyundai revealed today the wagon version of their i30 model range. The Hyundai i30 wagon will be premiered at the 2012 Geneva auto show, and it will probably go on sale sometime this summer. Hyundai's estate version of the i30 is 185 mm longer than the 5-door version, with a total length of 4485 mm. This means that the i30 estate is one of the most accommodating vehicles in the European C-segment. The Hyundai i30 station wagon has 528-litres of luggage space. Its boot capacity can be increased to 1,642-litres by folding down its rear seats. The interior of the i30 wagon remains unchanged in comparison to the 5-door version, and so is most of its exterior.

The main design changes brought by the Hyundai i30 wagon are visible at its rear.

From the B-pillar backwards it's a completely new car. The i30 wagon's tailgate opens to bumper level, which offers very easy access to its boot.

In terms of engine, the wagon version of the Hyundai i30 will be available with same options as its sibling. Meaning it will have both petrol and diesel engines, with power outputs ranging from 90 PS to 135 PS.

The Hyundai i30 wagon's price list and availability will be announced at a later date.
