Today, the first images of the 2012 Mercedes B Class leaked over the web, completing the picture Daimler gave us at the beginning of this month, by unveiling the new model's interior. Unfortunately no additional details of the 2012 B Class are available at this moment. What we know so far, is that the 2012 B Class will come with a choice between two petrol engines, and a diesel unit. The diesel version of the 2012 B Class will have a 1.8-liter engine, which will be available in two power output levels: the B180 CDI developing 109 hp and 250 Nm of torque, and the B200 CDI with an output of 136 hp and 300 Nm of torque.
The petrol range of the 2012 Mercedes B Class will include a 1.6-liter unit, with an output of
122 hp and 200 Nm of torque, and a slightly more power version of the same powertrain, developing 154 hp and 250 Nm of torque.
The leaked image of the 2012 B Class show that Mercedes gave it LED daytime running lights, and what seem to be LED fog lights.
