The 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser facelift was officially unveiled today in two versions: the LandCruiser 200 and the V8. The smaller 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado will have its debut at a later date. At launch, the new Land Cruiser will be available with a 4.6-liter V8 engine, which is good for 318PS (314 hp) at 5,600 rpm and 460Nm (339.2 lb-ft) of torque at 3,400 rpm. The 2012 Land Cruiser is rated with a 7.1 km/liter (14 liter/100 km, or 20 mpg UK, or 17 mpg US) fuel consumption in the combined cycle. So far, its CO2 emissions level has not been announced.

The 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser will be available in several trim options and seating configurations. The 5-seat GX version will be priced from around $56,500 USD, while the top of the range 8-seat model will cost you at least $80,900 USD.

In terms of exterior design, the 2012 LandCruiser comes with a re-styled front fascia, featuring new headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights, a new front grille and a re-modeled bumper. The rear of the 2012 Land Cruiser shows slightly modified taillights, and a few other accents. The 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser facelift continues to have the boxy overall design of the model range.

Toyota is now offering a new range of 18- and 19-inch alloys for the Land Cruiser, together with an updated selection of exterior finishes.

For the interior of the 2012 Land Cruiser facelift, Toyota is offering a re-designed center console and instrument panel, and a new TFT onboard computer information display.

For 2012, Toyota has updated the Multi-Terrain Select system of the Land Cruiser. This system is responsible for modifying the 4x4's settings of the traction control and ABS systems, and for enabling the Craw Control function.

The 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser is expected to go on sale in Europe and the United States sometime next year.
