Toyota revealed today the complete specifications and pricing information for the new generation 2014 Land Cruiser. The 2014 Toyota Land Cruiser comes with a new interior and exterior design, more efficient engine and improved equipment. In terms of exterior design, the 2014 Land Cruiser shows re-designed headlights with integrated LED DRLs, a new front grille, a modified front bumper with new fog lights, new rear lights and a re-styled rear apron. At the interior, the new Land Cruiser (2014) features a new center console, a brand new steering wheel and a modified instrument panel with a color LCD display. The 2014 Land Cruiser is the carmaker's first SUV to be equipped with the Toyota Touch 2 touchscreen multimedia system, which comes with Google Street View.
The 2014 Land Cruiser's Toyota Touch 2 system features supports "drag and swipe" hand gestures, and a 4-time improved screen resolution.
The new Toyota Land Cruiser (2014) is going to be sold with a 3.0-litre turbodiesel engine developing 188 hp and 420 Nm of torque between 1,600 rpm and 3,000 rpm. The engine of the 2014 Land Cruiser is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission. With this powertrain, the new Land Cruiser (2014) is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 10.2 seconds (3-door version) or 11.0 seconds (5-door model). Toyota rates the 2014 Land Cruiser 4x4 with a 214g/km CO2 emissions level. Toyota equips the 2014 Land Cruiser with the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System.
Toyota is going to sell the new Land Cruiser (2014) with a choice between three trim levels: Active, Icon and Invincible. There're also going to be three body types: 3 doors with 5 seats, 5 doors with 5 seats and 5 doors with 7 seats. The 2014 Toyota Land Cruiser is going to be available to an optional Safety Pack that includes adaptive cruise control with pre-crash system, which is priced at £1,360 GBP. There's also an Off-road pack, which is going to cost you £1,650.
The 2014 Toyota Land Cruiser's price list starts at £34,995 GBP OTR and it goes up to £52,495 GBP OTR for the top of the range model.
